Shatterkin concept

Revisiting my wildkin race, shatterkin. Sort of leaning towards a more squished-face and brutish features. I'm sort of enjoying the underbite, too. Felt inspired by Maori tattoos, particularly the chin markings, so this lil' guy has something like that. Not sure if it'll be part of the warrior culture or what, but we'll see

But anywho - Shatterkin are a race of wildkin that live in the Shatterside mountains. They are sturdy and strong, suited to climbing scree and slabs of breaking rocks. Prone to freckling from the constant sun on the bare cliffs. They're also nearly as willful and ornery as the mountain goats that share those cliffs, and because of that, these kin have managed to tame quite a few of them and use them as mounts. 

Although small like any of their kind, these particular wildkin are responsible for driving the highfolk nomads out of the mountains and down into the plains. They have a fun little tendency of taking human prisoners and using them as ritual sacrifices, painting their blood on the rocks and letting the carrion birds pick apart the rest.
